No surprise what President is missing from this PSA – but he’s like Voldermort, we don’t say his name. Instead he’s a joke and made an announcement from his office that reads like a parody.
Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama teamed up for a campaign urging Americans to get the Coronavirus Vaccine. Also featured in the PSA were first ladies Rosalynn Carter, Hillary Clinton, Laura Bush, and Michelle Obama.
The PSAs were produced by the Ad Council and COVID Collaborative as part of their Covid-19 Vaccine Education Initiative’s “It’s Up To You” campaign.
Over 500,000 Americans have passed away from the virus, which was declared a pandemic a year ago today. In the PSA you can see Obama saying it “will protect you and those you love from this dangerous and deadly disease.”
And I personally, believe that.
Though I feel strongly about getting the vaccine, you should consult with your doctor about getting the vaccine.
As President Carter says delivering the closing message: “Now, it’s up to you.”
