We have a new movie in the spotlight! It’s A Week Away and you’re going to love it! We promise you that. It has it all: music, fun, love … could you ask for more? You have to take a look at the trailer, the synopsis and the photos. Ready for this movie to shoot you right in the feels?
Here we go!
Some of us around here grew up with High School Musical and Camp Rock. Those movies, their stories and their characters were our childhood and A Week Away draws directly on what made them both special but, at the same time, goes its own way.
It’s a musical full of friendship, fun, romance … and faith. After all, faith in people, in seeing the best in each person, even if no one else sees it … is one of the emotions that moves the world. Perhaps the strongest.
You’re going to fall in love, you are going to cry, you are going to laugh … you are going to live and feel in your bones every moment of this incredible story. But it’s time to stop talking and check why I’m saying this. First of all, the synopsis.
A Week Away is the first faith-based musical of its kind. Troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn) has a choice to make – go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp. While at camp, and with the help of his music, new friends and love interest (Bailee Madison), he learns the healing powers of kindness, forgiveness, and faith can be found in the most unlikely of places.
Now, it’s time for you to see the trailer.
It as good as we were telling you? But this doesn’t end here, take a look at the promotional photos.

We’re not going to lie to you, you are going to have a lot of content from this movie next week because it is THAT good. Stay tuned for exclusive clips, our exclusive interview with stars Bailee Madison (Avery), Kevin Quinn (Will), Jahbril Cook (George) and Kat Conner Sterling (Presley), and of course, our review.
