For a while there, I thought I’d imagined Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. But it’s real! It’s coming! And now we have not just footage, but a poster. Time to turn up the hype, because this looks just like the kind of movie we’d been waiting for …you know, for decades.
First, star Simu Liu, whose birthday is today (Happy birthday!!), dropped the teaser poster for the movie:
And then Marvel said we’ll raise you a teaser trailer, and dropped this:
Shang-Chi must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.
The way I got chills at the line “You can’t outrun who you really are.” THE WAY I GOT CHILLS. I love this movie already, and all I’ve seen is two minutes of it.
