I love a good story about a celebrity that makes me feel like they are just like us. Sometimes they just feel so larger than life that it’s as if they are not relatable in anyway. But I should have known that John Krasinski, if anyone, was relatable.
As most of us have, during quarantine we’ve found our go to snack. Mine? Well it’s a toss between granola or cookies – which is a big deal, because I normally don’t eat sugar.
But John, his was something that personally, I only enjoy at a movie theater with a ton of butter.
The actor/director/hotness was on Stephen Colbert and was talking about his obsessions. And he admitted that he was addicted to popcorn.
“I got addicted to weird things,” John shared. “I was addicted to popcorn. My kids had microwave movie popcorn for something, and they loved it, and then just slowly the time started getting earlier and earlier.”
I have so many questions. Like did he buy Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings flavorings, cause that birthday cake one is to die for on popcorn.
For John, his obsession got so bad that he was asking people in his house if they wanted popcorn for basically breakfast.
Lord, I wish my Dad would have done that when I was a kid. Just saying.
It was when he did that, that his wife, Emily Blunt, intervened. He said, “Emily was like, ‘You gotta cool it on the popcorn! You got to stop microwaving popcorn at 9:00 a.m.’”
