We keep saying good things about Netflix Geeked Week and how could it be otherwise? We’ve gotten so much fun BTS stuff from our favorite shows, as well as first looks at some of the upcoming Netflix slate. And that is the case with Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which we’re super excited about because …well, we grew up on this animated series! Nostalgia is a big thing. Especially in this weird 2021, where we all feel like we’re reaching for comfort, the familiar.
Today, Netflix gifted us with a teaser for the show, which will debut part 1, consisting of 5 episodes, on July 23rd. You can find the teaser trailer below:
But that’s not all! We’re also getting an aftershow! Revelations: The Masters of the Universe Revelation Aftershow will also premiere July 23rd, and will be hosted by the keepers of the secrets of Grayskull: showrunner and executive producer Kevin Smith, executive producer and Vice President, Content Creative, Mattel Television Rob David and actress Tiffany Smith.
The 25 minute episode is also set to include appearances from Mark Hamill, Chris Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lena Headey, Tiffany Smith, Henry Rollins, Griffin Newman, Jason Mewes and Alan Oppenheimer, which I mean, all cool, that isn’t super exciting or anything, right?
