ATX Season 10 just keeps getting better! After the incredible day 5, day 6 was one of those days when you are grateful to have the opportunity to hear these stories that move you. So we review top moments or day 6!
ATX Award in Television Excellence: Michael J. Fox

Michael is a ray of sunshine. I swear to you. He is sincere, authentic and just… he is so loved by the entire industry and so humble as to not think for a second that it should change who he is. He received a deserved recognition from ATX TV Festival Season 10 for his career and as an exponent of the best of our TV.
Michael is somehow “used” to the awards (five-time Emmy Award winning and four-time Golden Globe winning) and I was amazed to see how he never gets used to his success, never takes it for granted and is so clear about his priorities in a world where it is easy to get carried away by fame and success.
Michael reviewed his appearances on “The Good Wife” (where I first met him, by the way), “Family Ties”, “Spin City”, “Rescue Me”, “No Time Like the Future” and also mentioned “Mr. Inbetween ”, and I found this concept super interesting.
They say that it is not easy to meet your heroes because they can disappoint you but Michael achieved the opposite, he made me love him more. He shows that he loves what he does but, above all, it shows that the only thing he wants is for others to have a good time and make them a little happier.
ATX Breakthrough in Television Award: Angelica Ross

Voices matter, representation matters and it is the first year that ATX TV Festival has awarded this award to a creative voice, as different as it is necessary, that leaves its mark on our TV and in our society.
The chosen one was Angelica Ross (“Pose”) and just … just her. She was clear, she was direct, she made history as the first transgender woman to land two regular roles but she is clear that this has to be the norm, not the exception.
She is clear that she wants to make a better TV, more inclusive world where other transgender people do not have to suffer what she suffered to get to where she is.
I could only hear her and nod because absolutely everything she said was accurate. She told us about her experience, what “Pose” means to her, but also about the challenges for the future.
Even the panel’s live chat was muted for a second with her because we only had to listen, not talk. We had to listen and learn.
Central Park (Apple TV +)

The funniest panel of the night! It was so amazing just hearing them laugh. I loved them. The cast and crew told us about how this animated show is sometimes more real and more adult than it may seem.
They also told us about their experience in this season 2, how fun it was to lend their voices to these characters, how they stayed with a part of them and how eager they have to explore their characters more.
Mythic Quest (Apple TV+)
A really interesting conversation with the creators and the cast of this comedy that is breaking the mold.
They explained to us how the creation process was, their funniest anecdotes and the need for a fresh, different, irreverent comedy show, a show that makes us laugh and smile without stopping, especially in these times where everything is being sad, nostalgic and somehow dark. A new discovery for me that I will definitely have on my radar.
And these are the top moments from day 6 of ATX TV Festival Season 10. Stay tuned tomorrow to review the top moments from day 7.
