Last June, the Owen Wilson-led golf comedy Stick debuted and stole our hearts. Its three-episode premiere introduced us to Wilson’s Pryce, whose professional career was derailed and has pivoted to mentorship of a young golf phenom, Peter Dager’s Santi. By its season finale, which streamed on Apple TV in July 2025, Pryce and Santi had turned over a new leaf and found a new love for the sport together.
Apple TV has shared that their story will continue when the second season premieres with two episodes on Wednesday, November 4. The 10-episode season will then release one episode weekly until the season finale on Wednesday, December 30. Stick Season 2 stars its returning cast of Wilson, Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, and Lilli Kay.

In season two, Santi takes the next step in his pursuit of professional golf, only to discover how quickly the game changes when talent becomes expectation. As Santi chases his dream, Pryce finds himself wondering what might still be possible for him. Urged on by his former rival Clark Ross, Pryce does something nobody expects: he bets on himself, launching an improbable comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. But the road back proves far harder than he imagined. And the closer Pryce gets to the golfer he once was, the more he is forced to confront why he never fulfilled the promise everyone once saw in him. With brilliant new coach Amanda and trusted caddie Mitts in his corner, Pryce sets out to prove — to the golf world and, more importantly, to himself — that maybe he really was as good as everyone always said he was.
The streamer renewed Stick for its second season the same day as its Season 1 finale. Needless to say, anticipation around the comedy’s return has been building ever since. It helps that casting news has been dropping since earlier this year. Timothy Olyphant, who plays Pryce’s former rival Clark Ross, and Judy Greer, who plays Pryce’s ex-wife Amber-Linn, have been upped to series regulars for the sophomore season.
Rhea Seehorn joins Stick Season 2 as Amanda, Pryce’s new coach. John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander,and Missi Pyle have also joined the comedy series. Like in Season 1, legendary broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, Good Good’s Matt Scharff and golf enthusiast Dan Rapaport will make guest appearances in Stick’s upcoming season.
Creator and showrunner Jason Keller serves as executive producer alongside Wilson, Ben Silverman for Propagate Content and Entertainment 360’s Guymon Casady. The series is also executive produced by Christopher Moynihan, Rodney Ferrell, Howard T. Owens, Drew Buckley, Lee Eisenberg, and Bill Callahan. Stick hails from Apple Studios.
