Get ready to go back to Sterling Point! Two weeks and a day after its debut, Sterling Point has been renewed for a second season on Prime Video. The streamer shared the news with a video of comments hoping that the show would come back for another season.
“It’s been an absolute joy to see the appreciation and love for the show,” creator Megan Park said in a statement. “We worked so hard to make the show as authentic as possible, and to see audiences respond to that has been thrilling. We cannot wait to dive deeper into these characters and deliver the best second season ever!”
Park serves as a director, co-showrunner, and executive producer alongside Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, under their Fake Empire banner, and Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley under LuckyChap. Sterling Point stars Ella Rubin, Keen Ruffalo, Jay Duplass, Amélie Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers, and Missi Pyle.
“It’s been incredible to watch audiences fall in love with Sterling Point in the way we did while making it. It’s truly a testament to Megan Park, our amazing cast, crew, Amazon, and all of our partners, who put so much of themselves into the show. We can’t wait to be back in Muskoka and for everyone to see what we have in store for Annie, Ramona and the rest of the crew for Season Two,” Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage said.
Prime Video seems committed to its Obsession Is iIn Session slate, of which Sterling Point is a part. This news comes on the heels of two other giant renewals: Off Campus and Every Year After for their respective second seasons. Elle also received an early Season 2 renewal. Still, it’s worth mentioning that Sterling Point is one of the few projects in that programming that isn’t based on a book. So its renewal comes with an extra layer of excitement – viewers are tuning in for original stories!

“Sterling Point has captivated millions of viewers around the world, and it’s easy to see why,” said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios. “Megan, Josh, and Stephanie, alongside our wonderful partners at Fake Empire and LuckyChap, crafted something truly special—anchored by strong performances from the phenomenal ensemble cast. We’re thrilled to bring audiences back to the island for Season Two.”
Over eight episodes of Megan Park’s show, the audience became fans of Annie, Ramona, Oona, Ellis, and more. As familial chaos ensued and romantic relationships developed and friendships were forged, Sterling Point gripped its fans with its heartfelt stories. Now we get to see what comes next.
Of course, there are several twists and turns towards the end of Sterling Point’s debut season that the second season will need to address. For example, Ramona going to New York is just the tip of a very large iceberg. Thankfully, it’s only a matter of time before we get to go back to the lakeside charm of Sterling Point to see what all of our new favorite characters do next.
