We’d be more shocked if movies kept the dates that they were supposed to be released on – because pandemic. However we do wish that somethings would keep their date, because we want to see them.
The sequel to Downton Abbey was supposed to hit theaters this December, but it has been pushed back to Friday, March 18, 2022. Universal will also release the movie internationally on the same day.
The cast of the first movie did return for the sequel, including Maggie Smith, Imelda Staunton, Michelle Dockery and Hugh Bonneville. Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West were also added for the sequel.
The movie is still in production and is set to wrap this August.
