It’s been a while, I know. But here I am, back to discuss my Kastle feels, because of course I am. How could it be any other way, when internet sleuths spent most of yesterday discussing whether the mystery woman walking with Kristen Dunst in Los Angeles was, indeed, Deborah Ann Woll, aka Karen Page.
Of course, Woll has now denied the rumors, and like, that would mean something, if Oscar Isaac hadn’t denied he was Moon Knight even while filming Moon Knight and with multiple pictures from around set available.
Circumstantial evidence is on the yes, it’s possible characters from the Netflix Marvel universe are coming back. Charlie Cox has been rumored to have a small role on Spider-Man: No Way Home for a while. Kirsten Dunst too, though I think we’re past rumors and just assuming the third Spider-Man movie is, indeed, a SpiderVerse movie. Multiple Spider-Mans and apparently, multiple Mary Jane’s.
But back to my Kastle feels. It would make sense that if Charlie Cox is reprising his role as Matt Murdock, but we’re getting the lawyer version of Matt, and not, you know, Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll could be back as Karen Page. And, if she is …we hope that means Marvel is planning to bring Jon Bernthal back at some point.
Where there’s Karen Page, Frank Castle must follow. Those are the rules. I don’t make them, I just abide by them.
Come on, we need resolution. This cannot be the last thing we saw of them. I refuse.
Please, Marvel. Bring back Karen Page. Bring back Frank Castle. And yes, bring back Kastle. The MCU deserves an OTP like them.
