Dating is always an adventure. It’s sometimes a good one, sometimes a bad one, most of the time a crazy time. You never know who you will like, who you won’t. People are all types of crazy and sometimes not knowing a persons type of crazy is scary.
At the end of the last episode, Chelsea was presented with the idea that she needed to date, that she really didn’t care about Grant the way she thought she did. This was a rebound thing. She just wanted someone to care about her.
But the thing is, where as part of me gets that, the other part of me notices the chemistry between Chelsea and Grant and feels like they should be it. They are it. I love the way that they just seem to fit together in a room.
DOUBLE DATE
At work, Grant asks Chelsea what she is doing. She’s on dating apps and he takes that as a sign that he should be dating too. Claire’s moved on, after all. Why shouldn’t he?
Chelsea says that dating isn’t that easy, but it definitely turns out to be easier for Grant. He just says out loud that he wants to date and all these girls come flocking to him. Granted, if I was there I probably would have to.
He chooses a date for the night, and she seems pretty cool. Until she asks if he has someone for her brother so that they can double date. Grant asks Chelsea and she reluctantly says yes. But hey, she’s trying to date, so that shouldn’t be a bad thing.
Now, I would be a little hesitant when someone says that they are setting me up with their brother. What is wrong with your brother that he can’t get his own date?
But the two go and it’s the weirdest date I have ever seen. The brother and sister need to sit by each other and share a drink – one glass two straws. They break into dance together and then start talking about how they need to get married at the same time, because they want to have kids at the same time, and basically this is the weirdest date ever.
Chelsea says she has to go to the bathroom and gets Grant to notice that he’s supposed to follow. They sneak out and head home.
I love that these two are bonding and they look like they are having fun together. I think that both are dealing with broken hearts in their own way and I do believe that they have great chemistry. But does chemistry mean that people should be together?
I mean personally, I would never date someone that my sister dated, but that’s just me.
Grant and Chelsea are talking that night over beers and they talk about the face that they had fun together. You see this moment between them, where everything looks and feels okay.
And where you wonder could it work? And you know it could… but what it would cost Chelsea feels more detrimental than what it would be worth.
GHOSTING YOU
Jayden and Claire are bonding and end up going to a pottery class together. They are trying to decipher if the instructor is straight or gay. The way that it all unfolds is very dramatic but I love seeing Claire and Jayden working together as friends. The way that these two bring everything out of each other is fun.
These two are the type of friend you want to be and the type of friend you want to have. I do wish that Claire would be honest with Jayden and tell someone that she still likes Grant. I feel like I know that shows like this are supposed to be filled with drama, but the rift that it can put between Claire and Chelsea is something I don’t like at all.
These two sisters are finding their way to each other and the friendship that they should have had their entire life.
So the possibility of a guy coming between that, I don’t like.
Different note though, I can’t stop laughing though, during Claire and Jayden’s class, Jayden asked for help from the instructor and had a full on Ghost movie moment. It was epic and made me LOL.
Claire meets a guy in the class who is handsome and kind and makes her smile. When she hears that Grant has gone out on a date, she looks so sad and disappointed, I want to jump in the television and hug her.
But I am also glad to see her put herself out there. She deserves to be happy. We all do.
THE MOUSE IN THE HOUSE
When you live with a lot of people, life can be a lot. You never get peace. Everyone is always around, screaming and talking and all you want is some peace and quiet.
Solona is super excited that she has the house to herself – she can meditate and eat some weird shit that I don’t even know what it is. But apparently it stinks. And she’s ready to relax, until she sees a mouse.
I would freak the fuck out. She does and manages to build a tunnel to get the mouse out of the house.
Legit, I would throw EVERYTHING away.
OTHER THOUGHTS
- I really wish that Claire would be honest about her feelings. She’s too worried about other peoples feelings and needs to worry about her own
- I really wish we knew more about Solona as a lawyer
- Does Grant own the gym? I am confused.
- Gregg Sulkin is hot, and I feel like a cougar saying that.
