Bridgerton season 2 has finished filming and fans are ready for what that means for the upcoming season. For one, we’re closer to meeting Kate Sharma, who will be played by the talented Simone Ashley. Fans might recognize her from Sex Education, where she played Olivia Hanan.
Acting opposite her is Jonathan Bailey, who will be playing Sharma’s love interest Anthony Bridgerton. In season one of Bridgerton the focus was on Daphne and her relationship with the Duke. This time around it’s all about the connection between Kate and Anthony, and the circumstances that bring them together in season 2.
With the upcoming season wrapping up production, fans are exciting about how long it’s going to take to see these two clash over and over again before becoming allies and then more. The excitement is palatable especially on Twitter, where fans are throwing memes out to represent their pain and wondering when Netflix is going to tell us more.
Here are some of our favorite Bridgerton season 2 tweets so far, with a dash of #Kathony!
Bridgerton season 2 will be available on Netflix…soon.
