Life isn’t easy. This pandemic has taken so much from us all, and we’re all living in a state of just trying to get through. We can’t be around people that we love, we’ve been living in isolation and we’ve all lost a lot.
It’s Christmas time and it’s hard. Personally, I am more emotional than I ever been. Things that never would have made me cry, do. And I have to admit that I teared up over this. Maybe it’s my love for royalty and maybe it’s the joy of the holidays.
I think that it’s the pandemic that has me feeling extra emotional.
The Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge‘s Instagram account teased that Kate Middleton would be playing the piano. But we wondered for what.
And we have our answer.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge appeared on the Royal Carols: Together At Christmas special on playing the piano alongside Scottish singer-songwriter Tom Walker.
The performance took place at The Chapter House inside Westminster Abbey. The show, “reflected upon the difficult past 18 months for people across our nation, and particularly for those who might be more vulnerable, isolated or have limited access to support.”
As we all get through this pandemic day by day, know that you are not alone. We’re thinking of you and wish you and yours a Merry Christmas.
The Duchess of Cambridge has appeared on #TogetherAtChristmas performing! She accompanied @IamTomWalker on the piano to ‘For Those Who Can’t Be Here’. It was Kate’s idea – she’s played since childhood – and they even secretly met up to rehearse (here’s what he told us earlier) 👇 pic.twitter.com/IJFzx3yQja
