Love is Blind is expanding and bringing its unique show to Japan. This once is a lifetime opportunity sees hopefuls try and find love…without seeing each other. Now, we’ve got to admit that at first we were skeptical of the show. Could people who have never seen each other, peel back the expectations ingrained in us by society. and connect on a deep level? After Love is Blind season 1 and Love is Blind: Brazil, the answer is yes.
Like every season, this edition of Love is Blind will have a pair of co-hosts that will guide the hopefuls on their journey. This time around it’s Takashi Fujii and Yuka Itaya. Fujii is known for Alive: Oncologist’s Medical Record and Kamen Rider Build: Be the One. And Itaya is known for Ichikei no karasu and Hot Mom. And this follows the trend of having relatively well-known actors helming the reality show.
Even though we don’t know any of the names yet, we’re really excited to see love blossom between these women and men. We’re also excited for the ups, the downs, and the will they/won’t they that will happen during the wedding sequence of it all. Because that is the moment of truth where they prove whether love is truly blind and if this experiment is a success across the world.
