Evangeline Lilly is at it again and the internet is side-eying the hell out of her, again.
Last we left off, Lilly was exposing herself to the world as an anti-vaxxer during a continuing global pandemic. She did this by posting a photo of an anti-vaxxer rally where Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a well-known hot mess and anti-vaxxer, had the nerve to compare vaccine mandates to the Holocaust.
Lilly went on to perpetuate this false narrative that those who are fighting for “medical sovereignty” are being threatened with “violent attack” or “arrest or detention without a trial.” Oh, but it gets worse. She also included homeless, starvation, and “excommunication from society.”
This time around, she’s using her voice to advocate for the trucker protest in Canada. Now, as a Canadian, she can say whatever she wants. It’s her right. As is the internets right to call her out for her continuing efforts to make it seem like the anti-vaxxer protesters in Canada are just taking a stroll through Canada and not backed by white nationists who absolutely have a double standard when it comes to who can protest in this day and age.
I said, what I said.
Furthermore, Lilly wanted the Canadian government and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to meet with the leaders of this blockade because “it’s not terrorism” what they’re doing. It’s not like they weren’t actively threatening public figures, becoming a disturbance by blaring their horns with no regard to residents, or building wooden structures with dozens of fuel canisters and propane tanks because that isn’t suspicious.
And of course, the internet came in like a white night to tell Evangeline Lilly off for her ignorant words, anti-vaxxer ways, and with the hope that she gets replaced in any future Marvel projects because they want movies with actors that don’t continue to perpetuate troubling views on proven and lifesaving vaccines.

Evangeline Lilly can be next seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania…for now.
