Obi-Wan Kenobi is back in action in the new teaser trailer for the Disney+ series.
Starring Ewan McGregor, it tells the story of Obi-Wan Kenobi 10 years after the devastating events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. If anything, it shows a broken Kenobi (which, who wouldn’t be) dealing with the pain of loss and the downfall and corruption of his best friend Anakin Skywalker, played by Hayden Christensen.
In the trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi we see how Kenobi is spending his time, watching a young Luke Skywalker and trying to keep his presence on the down-low. Because there are people after him and those like him. Jedis are the enemy to those who want to control. And in their eyes, the only way to move forward is to destroy them.
Joining the cast of McGregor and Christensen, who are both set to reprise their roles in Obi-Wan Kenobi, are Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
