There is nothing that we won’t watch Andrew Garfield in. Sorry, not sorry. We love him. Granted some of his choices are questionable but he’s still Andrew.
The actor is starring the Hulu’s limited FX series Under the Banner of Heaven. The show is based off a book of the same name written by Jon Krakauer.
This new series, “…follows the events that led to the 1984 murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty (Edgar-Jones) and her baby daughter in a suburb in the Salt Lake Valley, Utah. As Detective Jeb Pyre (Garfield) investigates events that transpired within the Lafferty family, he uncovers buried truths about the origins of the LDS religion and the violent consequences of unyielding faith. What Pyre, a devout Mormon, unearths leads him to question his own faith.”
Also starring in the show along Andrew Garfield is Daisy Edgar-Jones. Those two are enough to make us excited about the show.
The first two episodes of the series drop on April 28.
