Sorry, not sorry but we still think that Andrew Garfield deserves an Oscar for how he denied his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Why is this suddenly in doubt? Because of an interview with Lin-Manuel Miranda on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
In the interview, Fallon asked Miranda about knowing if Garfield was involved with the new Spider-Man movie. At that time Garfield was on set of Tick, Tick…Boom!. And when Miranda asked Garfield, the latter gave a reaction that left the former going “Oh, he’s in the new Spider-Man.”
“And, between shots, I kind of quietly went over to him and was like, ‘Andrew, are you…in the new Spider-Man?’ His exact reaction was, ‘What?! Shut up! Shut up! Hahaha! Shut up!’”

And even after this reaction, we still think that Garfield deserves an Oscar. Sure, his reaction might’ve been a little sus with Miranda. But who wouldn’t be when faced with Miranda. Have you seen his face? He’s adorable and anyone would be flustered by that face and want to tell it everything!
