Resident Evil, the most recognizable series centered around zombies and the way they change the lives of those terrorized by this infection, is back with a new battle for survival. And thanks to a teaser trailer from Netflix we have the first real look at what’s to come for the main characters Jade and Billie; two sisters who have been forever changed by the apocalypse that has overtaken the world.
In the teaser trailer, we get glimpses of life for Jade and Billie in New Raccoon City. Everything is ideal, safe, and peaceful with a hidden underbelly that shows that life isn’t what it seems. Flash forward 14 years and the world is a mere shadow of itself; full of zombies, monsters, and our favorite…zombie dogs. And it’s all thanks to the Umbrella Corporation and their invention of Joy; a drug that basically destroyed our way of life.
