‘This Is Us’ Is Ending And We Have A Lot Of Feelings About It

There was a time where we covered This Is Us, but we stopped because it was too hard. Yes, I said too hard. Everything felt emotional and personal. Every time we would try to write about the show, we’d find ourselves broken down in tears, feeling vulnerable and afraid.

Why? Because This Is Us is a rarity of a show. It’s a show that even if you aren’t going through the same things as the Pearsons, you feel for them and/or it reminds you of something that you felt so deep in your soul when you went through something.

Everything in this show just gets you – from the writing to the acting to the feelings that pour out. We don’t know about you, it’s our weekly cry fest.

And this week, it ends. It comes full circle as the Big Three are left to put their Mom to rest.

“I’m not worried about forgetting about the big stuff. It’s the little things I’m not ready to let go of yet.”

Though This Is Us will always be a big thing to us, we don’t think we’re ever going to forget it. We’ll probably rewatch it a million times. Why? Because it’s a part of us and that is something that we’re not going to be willing to let go of.
