We understand that a lot of people are starting to pay more attention to Austin Butler and we can respect that. We’re just saying that if you want to call yourself an Austin Butler fan, you are required to watch The Carrie Diaries in our opinion.
We’re counting down until Elvis premieres and we’re following all of the promo that is being released. The movie premiered at Cannes and Butler has been doing some press. We’ve been listening and we were surprised at some of the things that we’ve learned.
For instance, the day after Elvis wrapped, the actor was rushed to the hospital. When we read the headline, we freaked. We got scared.
Austin told GQ, “My body just started shutting down the day after I finished Elvis. The next day I woke up at four in the morning with excruciating pain, and I was rushed to the hospital.”
He had a virus that simulates appendicitis and was bedridden for a week. We’re glad that he was ok. That had to have been terrifying.
