Before we take a look at the first images of Young Royals season 2, how about a reminder of why this show won us over? Season 1 was what seems like forever ago and a bit of background never hurts.
When Prince Wilhelm (Edvin Ryding) arrives at the prestigious boarding school Hillerska he finally gets an opportunity to explore his true self and find out what kind of life he really wants. Wilhelm starts dreaming of a future filled with freedom and unconditional love far away from the royal obligations – but when he unexpectedly becomes next in line for the throne his dilemma is heightened as he has to make a choice. Love or duty.
And now…Young Royals season 2 first look!
These images leave us with few answers and many questions. What will happen to our favorite ship AKA Simon and Wilhelm? It seems that Wilhelm will concentrate on his royal duties, crushing what he feels for Simon, but perhaps this distance will help Wilhelm decide to fight for the only thing that it’s truly worth: the love of his life.
On the other hand, Sara is starting to go down a path that will bring her nothing but suffering, will she realize it in time?
Young Royals season 2 has a lot of questions to answer…and we have a lot of time to think about them. At least, now we have the first look to calm our nerves, right?
