Back in the day, when Zoey Deutch was in Beautiful Creatures, we told her, that she was going to be an actress that we followed for as long as we were around. We told her that she was going to make an impact on the world and we were positive that her career was going to be one that lasted.
Why?
The obvious part being that she’s talented, but also because she’s got that thing. She’s got that unexplainable star quality. She’s also one of the most charming actors that we’ve ever met.
The actress was on Jimmy Fallon, promoting her latest movie, Not Okay, and she talked with Fallon about her cameo in The Amazing Spider-Man. Fallon also showed the clip and well… we both laughed and loved it.
“I remembered it. Yeah, I was in one scene, I had no lines. I was so excited, and for whatever reason, they used that scene as the teaser at Comic-Con,” Zoey told the talk show host. “And so people thought I had a big part and kept saying to me like, ‘Oh my god, you’re the star of The Amazing Spider-Man.’ ‘I didn’t know that you’re the star of The Amazing Spider-Man.’ It’s like, I didn’t know either.”
“But I went to the theaters, and I was cut out of the movie. So it doesn’t really have a happy ending. But I think technically I’m in the MCU. I’m like in the black hole part of the MCU,” she added.
Well Zoey we love your cameo and we’re sorry it got cut. But in the same breathe, we’re very happy that we got to see it.
