Sometimes, you just have to pledge your undying loyalty to Wednesday. And by “sometimes,” we mean “all the time.” In the newest clip released during Netflix’s TUDUM event, that’s exactly what Jenna Ortega’s version of the Addams family’s perfectly dark-hearted daughter asks demands for Thing to do.
We’ve been trying to keep our cool and avoid instant judgment from Wednesday Addams herself about this series since it was first announced. But we continue to fail because the content is that good.
Granted, the whole “undying” part of that is up in the air. After all, our mistress loves a good murder. But…we’ll do our best. Here’s hoping it’s enough for her. Or else.
Watch the newest Wednesday clip HERE:
Are Gomez and Morticia concerned parents? Or are they just using Thing to spy on their daughter while she’s away at Nevermore Academy? Only time will tell. But, until then, we’ll try to avoid getting locked away in any drawers.
But wait! There’s more! If, like us, you’ve been dying to find out when you can actually stream Wednesday on Netflix, there’s news on that front. Since, as the official Twitter account reminded us, the holiday has “always been about murder & mayhem,” the series will release just in time for Thanksgiving. But it won’t be actually on the holiday. It will, appropriately enough, be released on the only day of that particular week that makes sense…
“…from the imagination of Tim Burton starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more. WEDNESDAY is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy, premiering globally November 23, only on Netflix. Snap snap.”
