Thomas Doherty needs an apprentice in the newly released audio story on the Quinn App. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with, and just discovered the app like we did it’s a site that specializes in audio erotica AKA Porn. Yes. You heard that right. The Quinn app was designed for you to get your porn fix in audio form.
When you think about it, it’s quite inventive. It’s pretty much the same thing as listening to a romantic audiobook but with you the listener as the main protagonist. You can literally use your imagination and place yourself right in the story. Caroline Spiegel, the sister of Snapchat creator Evan Spiegel launched Quinn after struggling to get her libido back. She realized that mainstream porn just wasn’t cutting it so she turned to audio pornography.
“I think the appeal of audio erotica can be summed up in that line that says that the brain is the biggest sex organ.”
What Spiegel liked about audio porn was that instead of looking at visuals, there were just sounds that forced the listener to use their imagination to come up with the details. We’re living in a much different world now where people are feeling a bit freer about how they want to experience and explore their sexuality. The Quinn app is providing that but in a way that also allows you to live out fantasies, you wouldn’t necessarily share with anyone else.
Since its official launch in 2020, the Quinn app has been doing very well. With over 45 hand-selected creators and multiple categories to choose from, listeners are discovering the app all the time. Now, having a celebrity like Doherty narrate one of the stories, they most certainly will see even more subscribers. We couldn’t think of a better choice. The Inventor’s Apprentice which is the Quinn app’s first original romance story follows inventor Horatio Godkin as he works with his apprentice Arabella Bellamy. If you remember what we said earlier, you, the listener are Arabella.
When a Gilded Age Inventor takes on a young female apprentice to help him document and destroy a time machine, both his greatest achievement and the cause of his early demise, neither of them are ready for the physical and emotional journey the two will take together.
We don’t know about you but we are already obsessed with this story and there have only been two episodes released so far. Each one is getting steamier and steamier. Also, if you’re still on a high after watching Doherty play the sexy vampire Walt in Jessica M. Thompson’s film The Invitation, we highly recommend listening to this story. It will give you the Doherty fix you so desperately crave.
The Inventor’s Apprentice was written by Emily C. A. Snyder and was directed by Robert Valentine. Episodes one and two are available on the Quinn app now. Episode three releases on September 29th.
