The countdown for season 2 of Warrior Nun landing on Netflix is upon us. And sure we don’t have an exact date. But we do know it’s this Winter and that photos being released is a good sign that there is more around the corner to tease what Ava (Alba Baptista), Beatrice (Kristina Tonteri-Young), Shotgun Mary (Toya Turner), Lilith (Lorena Andrea), Camila (Olivia Delcán), and the rest of the gang. And because we’re obsessed, here’s a quick little breakdown of the newest photos.
Season 2 Episode 3
Ava is looking for a way to stop Adriel and this crown of thorns said to be placed on the head of Jesus during his crucifixion, might be the key. And what’s really interesting about this photo in particular is the reflection that we see right next to Ava’s face. So this is a protected place where she’s had to phase through some glass to get to the crown of thorns, which we see in the trailer getting mighty sharp.
Season 2 Episode 4
Look, ain’t no paying attention to the Tarask in the back. Well… that’s a little bit of a lie. Ava and Beatrice are worried as they run away from this higher order of demon. But we, as the viewer, just see Ava and Beatrice together, as they always should be. And while we want them to kick Adriel’s ass and save the day, we want to see quiet moments between these two young women that explore their relationships and the possibility of it being something more. That’s not too much to ask for, right?
Season 2 Episode 6
By episode 6 of season 2 of Warrior Nun we’re past the halfway point of what we assume is a 10 episode run. And yes, we see Ava, Beatrice, and Camila in this, but where are my other baddies? Because right now w’re thinking about how season 1 ended and are worried for Lilith and Shotgun Mary. She’s ok, right? Omg, is she coming back for season 2? *runs to check IMDb* But also, tell us everything about these fresh faces that will hopefully not just be red shirts in disguise.

This photo from Warrior Nun season 2 is everything because of the determination in Ava’s eyes. Connect it with the previous photo and she’s gearing up for an intense battle. Yes, she looks badass in this chainmail headpiece made for battle. And yes, she is working this haircut. But it’s also the look in her eyes. She has a family to protect now and a foe to defeat.
