This week’s 9-1-1 was a lot. There were so many stories, and while “What’s Your Fantasy” was a little more serious than last week’s episode, there were still some humorous moments to lighten up the show. Including a couple that has some weird fantasies and made us wonder what in the world they were thinking. Let’s review.

Girl Power
The first story this week involved two sisters and one was dressed as a princess. The older sister wanted to show her younger one that girls don’t have to be princesses. They can be whatever they want to be. Unfortately, when the older sister puts on the armour, she gets attacked by bees and has a severe allergic reaction. The 118 shows up, but it’s a tricky situation. The allergic reaction caused her skin to swell and she’s trapped in the armour. But the 118, specifically Hen, is able to save her life.
By saving the day, Hen helps show everyone that girls can be whatever they want to be. And Hen’s a pretty great role model if we don’t say so ourselves.

Parenthood
The parents this week all had interesting experiences with their kids. Maddie and Chim need a bigger place to stay since their daughter now has so much energey and is into everything! But unfortunately they can’t find anything they like and in their price range (sounds familiar). It was so funny watching Buck chase his neice around his place. He defintely isn’t as fast as an almost 2 year old. While we hope that Maddie and Chim find a new place soon (for everyone’s sake), we wouldn’t mind seeing more of Uncle Buck. He’s adorable.
We also enjoyed watching Eddie kind of freak out about Christopher’s school dance. He is totally not ready for Chris to have crushes and for him to have his first kiss. We love seeing this side of Eddie. Yes, he’s a great firefighter, but he’s an amazing father.
Now, the other story this week wasn’t so cute; it was scary. We were pretty worried about May after discovering that Darius’s roommate is dangerous. This situation could have been so much worse. But May did exactly the right thing by telling Athena about the notebook she found. If she hadn’t, who knows how many people Erik could have killed. And May was a badass and was able to talk Erik down by using her skills she learned at the call center.
Overall, we were very impressed with May. We’re glad the show is still letting us see her every now and again even though she’s in college and not working at the call center. And we can’t wait to see more of her story.

Weird Fantasies
There were definitely some unusual fantasies this week especially the couple who deseraptely wanted to have sex on top of a fire truck. Um…. WHY? As expected, this ended very badly. There was nothing to hold on to and the man fell off the truck and had some major injuries. He’s going to be fine. But maybe they should stick to having sex on things that aren’t moving. And maybe a little more comforytable.
While that was the strangest fantasy in the episode, it wasn’t the only weird one. The other fantasy almost became a reality as an unhappy employee almost killed his boss when he mixed up his coffee order. Look, we know he’s not the first person to wish his boss ill, but maybe you shouldn’t tell all of your secrets to the cops. Especially after you accidentally poisoned someone. Just a thought.
