When it comes to holiday movies – we have a habit of sticking with the things that we know and love. We love The Santa Clause franchise and were definitely excited when we sat down to talk to some of the stars at the press junket.
Matilda Lawler and Devin Bright star in the show as two of Santa’s top elves. The two are perfection and quite hilarious in the limited series
The two sat and spoke with us about the show, if their Christmas traditions would change in the North Pole, and which one of them doesn’t like chocolate.
The Santa Clauses is about, “Scott Calvin is on the brink 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.”
The Santa Clauses stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus, Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol / Mrs. Claus, Kal Penn as Simon Choksi, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra, Austin Kane as Cal, Rupali Redd as Grace Choksi, Devin Bright as Noel, and Matilda Lawler as Betty.
The Santa Clauses will premiere with the first two episodes of the six episode series on November 16.
