It physically pains me to be looking forward to the new Disney+ show, The Santa Clauses, because Tim Allen (yes, it’s because I sure as fuck do not agree with his political views). But that being said, I am excited.
Especially after the first picture was released. Damnit Disney, I didn’t want to be pulled in.

The series will be about, “Scott Calvin is on the brink 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.”
But we’re excited to see both Tim Allen (to the role, not him) and Elizabeth Mitchell both return to a holiday world that we love. Kal Penn is also returning to the series. Joining The Santa Clause as series regulars are Austin Kane, Rupali Redd, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, and Devin Bright.
There is no release date yet for the series, but it is expected this fall on the streaming network.
