Fandom. Sometimes it’s the best thing and sometimes it’s the worst. But one thing that we love so much about fandom is that there are die hard fans – like us – who have the best accounts to go to for all the news.
We know that we can’t cover everything (even though we want to) and so these fandom accounts are some of our go to accounts for all the latest information. Hell, we head to them for even more information on the things that we do love.
From TikToks to Podcasts, Tweets to Facebook groups, these are our top 10 fandom accounts for 2022.
You can totally call us an Emily In Paris stan account and we’ll be good with that. While we can get a lot of information about the show on the webs, it’s harder to find out about the clothing. This year, we’ve grown to have more of an appreciation for fandom accounts that show us where to get the clothes. And Emily In Paris has GREAT clothing.
We’re die hard fans of anything and everything One Chicago, so no shock here, we love listening to podcasts about the show. And Meet Us At Mollys has some great thoughts and some great interviews.
When we talk about Hallmark, a lot of people think that we’d only be talking about drooling over hot men or that all Hallmark fans are women. But these men are the best time ever. They are blunt about what they like and what they don’t. They feel like the guy best friend that you could talk to about anything and they’ll tell you if you’re a hot mess or your shit is together. Their podcast is a ton of fun and we love listening to them.
We’re all about anything royal, and so many times anything that talks about The Royals is slanted. But not here. Here we’re offered opinions, yes. But we’re also offered a lot of facts. We learn about The Royal Family, royal traditions, and royal history. This account was our go to for all information when Queen Elizabeth passed away and it continues to be a go to account now.
We are dead ass dedicated Swifties. So we love Taylor and can appreciate her genius. We can appreciate the fans that do edits too. And Rainn Swift is creative and fun. We love so many Swiftie accounts, because we love the creativity of the fandom. If you aren’t on TikTok you need to be and you need to get on all the accounts there that do some amazing Taylor videos. But make sure to check out Rainn.
Yes, accounts are everywhere, even on Twitter. BTS is everywhere and while we spend most of our time on TikTok watching everything about them – we love Bora Tweets. Clear, concise, and knowledgable tweets about the group and all things army. We love being able to go to one place for all the info.
It’s really hard to narrow down just how many Outlander accounts we spend time on, but we do love them all. It’s just every time we miss Outlander and we want to laugh, we head here. They have so many clips and they present them in fun and amusing ways.
Fandoms are complicated and the are sometimes volatile. Semra started in the After Fandom, but has grown way beyond that. Her no holds barred attitude is definitely something we love. She’s a fan with a great eye who can see the way that things work together on social media. Her edits are beautiful and simple. She knows fans don’t need anything over the top, they need someone to see the beauty in fandoms. And understand that they are seen and understood, instead of suppressed over fandom trolls that speak loudly. She’s our one stop shop for all things romance.
Yes, we know it’s a Netflix account, but did you know that it started out as a fandom account. The Swoon is the best place to learn all about everyone and everything K-Drama. It’s because of The Swoon that we’ve found some amazing series that we love. So many things that we love have come from The Swoon.
When it comes to Tyler Hynes, we love him. But we love his fan club just as much. So many groups on Facebook feel like a wasteland of people being angry and controversial. But in Tyler’s group – it’s genuine friendship and support. Tyler is all about positivity. His fans are too.
And it’s not so often that you find a celebrity that wants to spend time with his fans. But every year, the actor goes into his group and does a shot and live with his fans. It’s the boot shot tradition and something any Hynie looks forward to.
