We’re always looking for the next thing to watch, and though sometimes we’re partial to the give me ten episodes and let me obsess of it all, there’s a place in our hearts for a good movie too. And Prime Video has an intriguing one coming up — Somebody I Used to Know — so here’s all the information we have about it.
Let’s start with pictures because sometimes the pictures can sell you on a movie. In fact, the pictures should be the first thing that sells you on a movie, considering we often see them way before we get to see a trailer. And these are the right level of dramatic, intriguing and just …pretty.

The synopsis for the movie reads as follows:
Workaholic TV producer Ally (Alison Brie) faces a major professional setback which sends her running to the comforts of her hometown. She spends a whirlwind evening reminiscing with her first love Sean (Jay Ellis) and starts to question everything about the person she’s become. Things only get more confusing when she discovers Sean is getting married to Cassidy (Kiersey Clemons) whose confidence and creative convictions remind Ally of who she used to be. Directed by Dave Franco and written by Franco & Alison Brie, SOMEBODY I USED TO KNOW is an unconventional love story about three people who unexpectedly help each other rediscover who they really are, where they came from, and where they’re going.
So …what is happening? Is this really like an OT3 situation? Is it a romantic comedy? Is it a drama? Will we laugh, cry or both? Who knows, but we’re kind of intrigued.
