Sometimes there is an actor that makes an impression on you and you just know that no matter what they do, you’ll watch it. Nicholas Hoult is one of those actors for us. We’ll watch whatever he does. Maybe it’s the fact we love him as an actor, and maybe it’s the fact that we were once extras in Warm Bodies and the actor was the kindest man ever.
The actor has landed a new role in The Order, alongside Jude Law. We’re willing to overlook the casting of Jude Law, because nothing is perfect, The Holiday will always be one of the best movies ever, and because of Hoult. Sorry, not sorry, Law’s not a fave.
The Order is based on The Silent Brotherhood by Kevin Flynn and Gary Gerhardt, is about, “a series of increasingly violent bank robberies, counterfeiting operations and armored car heists frightened communities throughout the Pacific Northwest. As baffled law enforcement agents scrambled for answers, a lone FBI agent (Law), stationed in the sleepy, picturesque town of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, came to believe the crimes were not the work of traditional, financially motivated criminals but a group of dangerous domestic terrorists, inspired by a radical, charismatic leader (Hoult), plotting a devastating war against the federal government of the United States.”
Production is set to begin this May in Canada.
What do you think? Is The Order a movie you will watch?
