Chicago P.D. 10×16 “Deadlocked” is a Hank Voight episode. It’s also the directorial debut of Jesse Lee Soffer, and though his fans have missed seeing him onscreen as Jay Halstead, it’s still exciting to see him get an opportunity such as this one. Fans will take whatever they can get.
It’s hard to tell much about the directing from the pictures, but if one thing is true — we hope it’s this one, let this be a case that allows Soffer to direct all his friends, the people closest to him, even if it’s Hank Voight centric. And if we’re talking storylines, let this be the episode someone tells Voight that being Voight, well, it isn’t the great thing he thinks it is. It’s been a long time — since Jay, actually — that someone has told it to Voight like it is.
Here are the pictures for Chicago P.D. 10×16 “Deadlocked”:

Voight takes the stand for ASA Chapman in a high-stakes murder trial against notorious drug kingpin Arturo Morales. When it becomes clear that Morales and his henchmen have compromised a juror, Voight and the team work furiously to ensure justice prevails.
