After absolutely killing it at the 2023 Oscars with Everything Everywhere All at Once, A24 is back with the official trailer for BEEF. Premiering on Netflix on April 6, it tells the story of Danny Cho (Steven Yeun) and Amy Lau (Ali Wong). They come from vastly different walks of life. And it’s a road rage incident that brings them together and unleashes something powerful.
Because hate like this, where you try to destroy someone else, doesn’t come out of anywhere. It simmers and waits. And then when an opportunity comes around, it attacks. And I guess whatever Danny and Amy have going on in their lives needed an outlet. That outlet unfortunately ends up being each other. And if this trailer is any indication, it’s going to be a messy and bumpy ride until they figure out what they truly want.
