Maybe it’s because everything leads back to Twilight and maybe it’s just because we have good taste, but we have and will continue to watch anything that Anna Kendrick is in (even if it’s just her voice). Why? Because like we said, everything leads back to Twilight.
Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake are reprising their roles of Poppy and Branch, in the upcoming Trolls Band Together movie. Yes, we’re getting a new Trolls movie. Our theory on that is that we always need more Anna Kendrick in our live and we need to be reminded that trolls have better hair than we do.
Before we continue, we’d like to clarify that statement and say we’re only referring to the animated trolls in the Trolls franchise, not those of you online that like to harass people. We’re gonna guess that you have bad hair. Sorry, not sorry.
The synopsis of this movie, “After two films of true friendship and relentless flirting, Poppy and Branch are now officially, finally, a couple (#broppy)! As they grow closer, Poppy discovers that Branch has a secret past. He was once part of her favorite boyband phenomenon, BroZone, with his four brothers: Floyd, John Dory, Spruce and Clay. BroZone disbanded when Branch was still a baby, as did the family, and Branch hasn’t seen his brothers since.”
Besides Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake returning with their voice talents, also returning are Zooey Deschanel as Bridget; Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Gristle; Icona Pop duo Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt as Satin and Chenille; Anderson Paak as Prince D; Ron Funches as Cooper; Kunal Nayyar as Guy Diamond; and Kenan Thompson as Tiny Diamond.
Camila Cabello has joined the cast and will voice Viva and Troye Sivan will voice Floyd. But that’s not the end of the voice talent joining the movie – Eric Andre as John Dory, Daveed Diggs as Spruce, Kid Cudi as Clay, Amy Schumer as Velvet, Andrew Rannels as Veneer, Zosia Mamet as Crimp and RuPaul Charles as Miss Maxine.
Trolls Band Together will be theaters starting on November 17th. While you’re waiting, be sure to watch the trailer below –
