Looking forward to Law & Order 22×18 “Collateral Damage”? You’re in luck! We have a sneak peek clip to get you ready for tonight’s episode. This one features a very frustrated Maroun, and it’s even got some tension between Sam and Nolan. (Though, probably not the type of tension some of you would like to see.) This latest case, like most of the ones we see on this show, is definitely not going to be an easy one. And this time around, there’s also the potential for it to get have some weird moments, as Maroun and Price are stuck trying to figure out a way to find justice for someone whose death is (allegedly) somehow connected to a cult. So, good luck on that one.
In the clip below, Maroun (Odelya Halevi) is just coming from the courtroom — where things very clearly didn’t go as planned. As of now, she at least has a suspect, and based on her heated discussion with Price, she even has proof of a couple of felonies. But the judge won’t remand. From the sounds of things, she also doesn’t have anywhere near enough evidence for the murder, no matter how right or wrong her instinct on the matter is.
Price (Hugh Dancy) is the calm one here and gives her the obvious advice: Get some more concrete evidence for the murder. But the thing about cults is, members tend to not step out of line. Which means nobody that potentially could help actually will. So, what’s the only option left? Well, you’ll have to watch the episode clip below to see Price’s suggestion.
Oh. And did anyone else catch that line about “buying a new branding iron”? Yikes. No wonder Maroun’s so dedicated to putting this woman away for as long as possible.
In case you missed them, you can also catch the episode synopsis and promo for tonight’s episode below.
“When a young woman dies a slow and painful death from an untreated infection, Cosgrove and Shaw suspect she was under the influence of a powerful cult. Price and Maroun put pressure on its members to find the cult’s true mastermind.”
Law & Order airs Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC.
