When it comes to The Jonas Brothers we have to admit, we’re always scared. We’re always scared that we’re going to have another moment where we lose them because they break up.
Yes, we know we’d still have them individually, but like no one can beat all three of them together. They just are everything. We love you Kevin, Joe, and Nick!
So when they have to compete against each other for things, we’re a little like ok, sibling rivalry, we get it. But we also should have known that they’d find a way to move past whatever it is.
They’ve grown.
They know that they have a job to do.
But when they are auditioning for roles, have to admit until they were on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, never really thought too much about them auditioning for roles against each other.
Joe Jonas talked about a role that he lost out to Nick Jonas on.
If you didn’t know, Joe used to be a coach on The Voice Australia and he did a great job there. So it should be no surprise to anyone that when a seat for The Voice here in the states opened up, Joe really wanted the gig.
But in 2019 while at a Fleetwood Mac concert he found out that he didn’t get the role. It was when Landslide was playing that he found out that he lost out on the role to his brother, Nick.
Nick was a coach on The Voice for two seasons replacing Gwen Stefani.
In what was a bittersweet moment, he said, “I was so jealous. I cried my eyes out to ‘Landslide’.”
We get it. You can be happy and upset at the said time. He went on to say, “of course, I’m super happy for him, but I’m also bummed because I wanted the fucking gig.”
We’re just glad that they got through it and remained close. Trust, we’ve seen families that are up against each other and don’t take it that well.
