ATX TV Festival closed its 2023 season! Day 4 was the last day of a festival to remember. The day began with a panel on the Leading Ladies of Prime Video. Afterward, we went on a rodeo with The Ride and closed the day by focusing on the women of The Good Doctor. Time to go over it all! Ready?
Here we go!
LEADING LADIES OF PRIME VIDEO

ATX TV Festival has a conversation with the Leading Ladies of Prime Video about the return of the intergenerational rom-com With Love, the upcoming premiere of The Horror of Dolores Roach (based on the hit podcast series), upending genres and expectations, and centering Latine stories.
In the panel, the acting career of Emeraude Toubia and Justina Machado was discussed. They told us how they got to where they are, even though in the industry there were no people like them leading shows growing up.
Also, both opened up about being number 1 in call sheets and how they didn’t always have good experiences.
Stay tuned for our exclusive interview with Emeraude Toubia which we will publish in the next few days!
THE RIDE (PRIME VIDEO)

ATX TV Festival sets up a screening of the upcoming Prime Video docuseries The Ride, followed by a conversation with Ezekiel Mitchell (PBR Rider, Austin Gamblers), JJ Gottsch (CEO, Austin Gamblers), and Eric Detwiler (Executive Producer, Kinetic Content).
The series follows an ensemble cast of bull riders and coaches throughout the PBR Team Series as they navigate the league’s inaugural 2022 season, budding rivalries, exhilarating highs, and challenging lows of PBR’s newest team-based competition.
The panel discussed what it was like for them to open their lives to the cameras and share their inspiring stories on the small screen.
THE WOMEN OF THE GOOD DOCTOR (ABC)

The brilliant women of The Good Doctor join ATX TV Festival for a conversation about the series’ most impactful storylines, what it takes to work in front of and behind the camera, and what’s to come in season 6.
Additionally, the panel discussed shaping the upcoming season and what it was expected to focus on.
