We know that everything is being turned into a live action movie lately and we get it. We understand the allure of it and we understand why it is audiences want to see movies evolve. But sometimes, we think that it needs a little while before something changes.
Being as Moana is one of our favorites, seeing it become a live action films scares us. We know how this can go. It can be good and bad. And it’s the possibility of bad that scares us.

Dwayne Johnson is returning to the role of Maui, the demigod of the wind and sea. Sure, we’re excited for that return as we can’t imagine anyone else in the role.
Jared Bush, who wrote the screenplay for the 2016 movie also wrote the remake, along with Dana Ledoux Miller.
Moana will be Thomas Kail’s feature narrative directorial debut.
