Pink may not be our favorite color but it is up there with good colors. Hey, we grew up with pink everywhere and in the age of neon being popular. So sure, we’re not upset over neon pink making a resurgence, especially with the Barbie movie coming out.
We’ve seen some of the Barbie dream house in the trailer and it looks like it vomited shades of pink, which normally we’d be like just say no to pepto walls, but it’s Barbie.
With so many of us growing up wanting the Barbie dream house and obsessed with it’s interior, no one should be shocked that it is being talked about in Architectural Digest.
We’re hoping that there is a huge spread where we get to examine everything in the dream house.
But, one thing we have learned so far about the dream house is that due to the amount of pink used in the movie, “the world ran out of pink,” according to Production Designer Sarah Greenwood.
“I wanted to capture what was so ridiculously fun about the Dreamhouses,” said director Greta Gerwig.
The Barbie Dreamhouses were built at the Warner Bros. Studios outside London. We’d hope that they would keep them as an attraction. It’s definitely something we’d go visit. Would you?
