The official trailer for All Fun and Games teaches a very important lesson that personally I didn’t think needed saying since the days of Jumanji, but here we are. Basically, you don’t touch the mysterious object and you never ever read the text written on it. NEVER. But apparently, Jo, played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, decided to take a mysterious knife and then decide to read it. Surprise surprise that Asa Butterfield ended up with an X on his head and a deadly game of hide and seek in mind.
What follows is Natalia Dyer‘s character Billie working on how to survive the night with stars like Keith David and Annabeth Gish joining the fray. And while we know that Butterfield’s character Marcus is going to take some of his friend group with Billie, I really can’t wait to see what Butterfield can do with a scary story and how he’ll give himself to the role, especially after his time on Sex Education.
Read the synopsis: A Russo Brothers’ ABGO production starring Natalia Dyer and Asa Butterfield, All Fun and Games explores the elements of cruelty inherent in children’s games — Flashlight Tag, Hangman, Hide & Seek — and what happens when the games go too far. When a group of teens find a cursed knife in the woods, they unleash a malevolent demon that will not rest until it’s claimed all of their lives and souls in a terrifying deathmatch.
