Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal starring in a movie together has been the stuff that dreams are made of. Well, at least this writers dreams, because (1) little things make us happy and (2) LOVE THEM. Knowing that we will be able to watch them from the comfort of our own homes (especially with Covid-19 cases on the rise) makes us even happier.
Not that we want to ever tell our parents that they were right, but it truly is the small things in life that make all of the difference. And not exposing ourselves to careless people is a small but huge thing.
Foe, which features these two and we’ve been secretly anticipating, but kinda didn’t know how to feel because we first heard of it in 2021 and well, we just kinda felt like what’s gonna happen because it has been years.
The movie is about, “Hen and Junior farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up at their door with a startling proposal. The pic dotes on the persistent questions about the nature of humanity (and artificial humanity) in the not-too-distant future. “
Based on the novel by Ian Reid, Foe will arrive on Prime Video on October 6th.
