The Golden Bachelor seems to be my nemesis, because it’s all that I can talk about. It seems to be all that I can talk about because I am fascinated by its premise. See, normally I would believe that all of the contestants are after Instagram fame, but we’re dealing with a generation when I don’t think that is the issue.
They may just be after love.
Novel concept.
While we’ve got some concern about what is going to happen, but it’s also like we’re going to watch it no matter what.
So what’s the difference between The Golden Bachelor and the regular Bachelor? Well, host Jesse Palmer has the answer, “There’s a different maturity level. And I think that just comes from experience in life and emotional maturity as well that the women, that Gerry, have.”
The Bachelor host was speaking to E! about the upcoming show, “The way that they decipher problems, the way that they think about some of the situations that they’re in—whenever they face adversity, it’s pretty interesting. It’s a very, very resilient group of people. That’s probably been one of the more surprising things for me.”
We mean, all of this seems obvious, so we’re kinda shocked that you feel this way or that it is a surprise, Jesse. But maybe that’s just us.
Are you surprised? What do you think of Jesse’s comments?
The Golden Bachelor will debut on September 28 on ABC.
