Jennifer Garner is serving up even more family comedy goodness in the form of Family Switch. And we knew that she was the queen of family comedies when the first photos dropped, mentioning how she’s done other family comedies like The Adam Project, Yes Day, Love, Simon, and Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. But the official trailer for Family Switch cements herself as an actress who continues to grow and appreciate different aspects of her acting abilities.
In the official trailer for her latest movie, we get to meet the Walker family. Like most modern families, the kids are glued to their electronics and the parents don’t understand what it is to be young in 2023. One night they head over to an observatory for a family night that ends with them experiencing something cosmic. When they wake up the following morning the parents have switched bodies with the kids, leading to hijinks and lessons for each of them that will bring them closer together.
Garner plays Jess, the mom of the Walker family. She is best known for her iconic role as Sydney Bristow in Alias and Jenna Rink in the movie 13 Going on 30. Ed Helms plays her husband Bill. He’s best known for his role as Andy Bernard in The Office. Brady Noon joins as the brother Wyatt. He’s best known for The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and he voiced Raphael in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. And Emma Myers rounds off the cast as the sister CC. She’s best known for playing Enid Sinclair in the hit Netflix series Wednesday.
