Though we may not always be on the Mark Wahlberg train (personal reasons), there are times though when we are. Hey, we are ever evolving, as we all should be. And hey, yes, we pay attention when it’s a movie that we’re interested in.
Apple TV+ has announced that they will have his upcoming movie, The Family Plan, available for viewing this holiday season. Now, if you’re like us and always looking for ways to avoid family gatherings and speaking to people, this is exciting.
And quite frankly, it’s just the type of trash movie that we’d love to watch.
The synopsis? Well that would be, “Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family — while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime — Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.”
The movie will be available on Apple TV+ on December 15th, 2023. Will you be avoiding family by watching like we will?
