We have to admit with anything Taylor Swift we’re paying attention. When it comes to anything Twilight adjacent we’re related. So when you combine the two you’ve got our attention. Especially when it involves Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift. What can we say, Back to December is one of the greatest songs of all time.
We said what we said.
We had been wondering how it was that Taylor Lautner became involved with the music video for I Can See You (Taylor’s Version), but lets be honest, who hasn’t been? Well that question was answered when Lautner made an appearance on Halloween on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
“I was at home. It was like a morning around 9 am, I get a call from my manager and he goes, ‘You will never believe who I got a call from this morning.’ And I go, ‘I wouldn’t, so why don’t you tell me?’ And he goes, ‘Taylor Swift’s manager, and she wanted to see if she can get your new updated cell phone number and reach out,’” Lautner recalled. “I was like, ‘Okay…did they say what about?’ He’s like, ‘Not really … do you want to talk to your wife about this and make sure it’s okay?’ Meanwhile, wife is right in the kitchen there and she’s freaking out, and I go, ‘No, by the signs of it I think she’s gonna be just fine.’ She’s the biggest Swiftie ever, so automatic permission,” he said.
We’re obsessed. We love that even though the Taylor’s had lost touch, they got back in touch and that Swift thought of him. Taylor loved the idea when Swift pitched it to him and we’re thinking that we would have too.
Side note, we also love that Tay Lautner is the biggest Swiftie.
