Apple TV+’s Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas is on its way to becoming a holiday staple in households worldwide after its merry trailer. Multi-hyphenate and absolute songbird Hannah Waddingham will host a one-hour special recorded live at The Coliseum in London that will ring in the Christmas season on Wednesday, November 22. As the one-minute trailer showcases, Waddingham will perform multiple beloved Christmas classics, including “What Christmas Means To Me,” which is available as a single now.
The complete companion album, which features every musical highlight from the special, launches the same day Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas streams on Apple TV+ and will be available on all music streaming platforms. It is currently available to pre-save.
The Emmy Award winner will be joined on stage at one of London’s oldest and most beautiful theaters by Sam Ryder, Luke Evans, Leslie Odom Jr., Phil Dunster, and even more special guests. Additional performers for the special include the English National Opera, the London Gay Men’s Chorus, The Fabulous Lounge Swingers, and an 18-piece band.

Moreover, the trailer teases fun roles, perhaps in a dance number, for Ted Lasso stars Kola Bokinni and Billy Harris. Meanwhile, Nick Mohammed drops snow from a precarious position above the stage, and James Lance and Brendan Hunt appear in some of the photos below. It’s a Ted Lasso family reunion, down to Juno Temple‘s surprise appearance as Waddingham’s “Christmas miracle.”
Temple’s appearance and the other familiar faces for Waddingham may have something to do with Waddingham sharing “her personal journey to this magical moment with anecdotes and memories about her own holiday experiences.” After all, it is, as she calls it, her “festive extravaganza.”
Waddingham, Katy Mullan, Moira Ross, Raj Kapoor, and Nick Todisco executive produce Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas, and Done + Dusted produces. Hamish Hamilton directed the holiday special for Apple TV+.
