Chicago P.D. 11×01 “Unpacking” starts the eleventh season of the show with a focus on Tracy Spiridakos’ Hailey Upton, just as the character is getting ready to bid the show farewell. We don’t know how many episodes we have with Hailey, but we have to assume everything we see, starting from this episode, is setup for an eventual goodbye.
Let us hope her exit makes a lot more sense than that of Jay Halstead, her on-screen husband. And let us also hope that the show can somehow — as it’s writing her off — manage to repair the relationship they ruined and the character they sacrificed at the altar of a nonsensical plot.
The focus on Tracy means the pictures don’t really give any hint as to the big cliffhanger we left on in Season 10, which is the fate of Adam. Now, we don’t really believe anything bad is happening to Adam, particularly with Hailey leaving, but we wouldn’t have minded some proof he was safe and sound and happy with Kim and Makayla. Was that like, too much to ask?

We don’t have a specific episode promo for the episode, though NBC did release this One Chicago tease, which features a fair bit of the P.D. team.

Yes I’m looking forward to seeing Chicago PD bur I’m not happy to see Adam and Kim together romantically again and again and again I still don’t believe that Kim Burgess truly loves Adam and this is one of her acts that she plays with Adam liked she has before. The writers needs to break up that couple once and for all and send in new love interests for them both.
