Pedro Pascal is only 48. So truly, there is no excuse for his abuelita era when it comes to technology. And what is more abuelita than being tricked by someone’s voicemail message into thinking you are having a conversation with them?
According to Variety, that’s exactly what happened to Pascal during the Golden Globes. He tried to prank call Matt Damon, who was sitting not that far from him, at the “Air” table. Except he got Damon’s voicemail. And then proceeded to talk to said voicemail, as if he were talking to Damon himself.
Truly abuelita vibes.
Pascal, who was sporting a sling during the event — he fell down some stairs at his family’s house and needs to have surgery, seemed in good spirits despite the sling and the unsuccessful prank. In fact, he even wore some sweet nail polish that spelled the words OUCH.
Trust Pedro Pascal to suffer, but do it in style. It’s just that now we realize his style is a little bit abuelita.
We still kinda dig it, what can we say?
