There is no love deeper than the love of family. We can’t even process the connection that twins have, but we can only imagine that it’s deeper than anything that we would understand.
If we had a twin, we couldn’t imagine watching them go through a hard time. We’d hurt, because they hurt. We’d cry, because they’d cry. If we found out that our twin had cancer, we’d wish it was us instead of them. But we’d hold them up, be by their side, and make sure that they knew how loved they are.
Isabella Strahan was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor known as medulloblastoma. The college freshman sat down earlier this week with Robin Roberts to talk about her diagnosis and what happens next. Isabella credits her twin sister, Sophia Strahan, for teaching her to walk again.
We love that the two have been there for each other and that they draw strength from each other.
Sophia took to Instagram to return the love and give her sister all her support. She posted a carousel of the two and said, “I’m so lucky to have the most amazing sister and best friend in the world. The last few months have been so much harder than we could have ever imagined, but it’s made me realize just how strong you are. You inspire me and I’m so proud of you. Us forever 💞”
“Best sister ❤️” Isabella commented on the post.
